Eggless Rainbow Cake

First bake basic Vanilla Cake and frost with whipped cream.

INGREDIENTS:

For Rainbow Icing:

Gel food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) – I used Wilton gel colour
Whipped cream
Piping bag
Star nozzle tip

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Divide the frosting equally into a cup for each color.
2. Add a few drops of food coloring at a time to each cup until desired shade is reached.
3. Transfer each color of frosting to separate plastic bags with star decorating tip.
4. There are many ways to color the outside of your rainbow.  I mixed four different colors of frosting and used a star decorating tip to cover the rainbow.
