Fresh yogurt – 2 cups
Strawberry – 1 cup ( Chopped and slightly mashed )
Black salt – ½ tsp
Roasted Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp(according to your taste)
Green chilli- ½ tsp( Finely chopped OPTIONAL)
Mint leaves – 1 tsp ( Finely chopped )
- Whisk the yogurt in a bowl until creamy and smooth. Add sugar and black salt.
- Now add roasted cumin powder. To prepare this roast the cumin seeds on pan until it starts giving nice aroma. Then let it cool down and then grind it into coarse powdered form. This aromatic cumin powder lifts up the flavor of dahi raita.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Check for salt and add more if required. Garnish with mint leaves and strawberry slices.
