DALGONA COFFEE

While the presentation of coffee itself makes you crave for it, but it tastes delicious too and gives a tough competition to all the fancy coffees out there. Presenting before you: DALGONA COFFEE.

Dalgona Coffee or Whipped Coffee is a frothy three-ingredient, 5-minute coffee made using instant coffee powder. The coffee is whipped along with sugar and water until is light and frothy and then mixed with chilled milk.

You might hear or seen about this coffee on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other social media platforms, as many people are following this trend and enjoying sipping this coffee at home. So ho try it out yourself. Here goes the recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

1 tbsp Instant Coffee Powder
1 tbsp Sugar
1tbsp hot Water
4 cups Milk Chilled
Ice Cubes

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add instant coffee powder and sugar in a cup.
  2. Add 2 tbsp water and beat the coffee and sugar vigorously until it is light and fluffy.
  3. Add a few more drops of water required while beating the coffee.
  4. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour milk on top.
  6. Top the glass with whipped coffee.
  7. Mix well and serve chilled.

NOTES:

  • Use only Instant Coffee Powder to make beaten coffee.
  • If making small amount, you can use a milk frother to beat the coffee.
  • You can store the beaten coffee in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. But do not freeze.

Learn to make Beet Lemonade Recipe — Beets + Lemons + Sugar = Beet Lemonade

Say yes to this refreshingly tangy, lemony, beety and sweet drink. Say yes to this delicious blend of nutrients and taste. It is a gift for your taste buds which is quite refreshing and BEETLICIOUS.

We all know the health benefits of beetroots. They are full of antioxidants. They help in regulating the blood pressure and are also a good source of energy for your body.

So YAY for this guilt-free, refreshing and citrusy drink! A happy Beet is key for your healthy heartbeat!

INGREDIENTS:
Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice – 1/2 Cup (Approximately 3 Lemons)
Freshly Squeezed Beet Juice – 1/4 Cup Or Beets, Peeled And Cut Into Chunks – 1
Honey Or Sugar Syrup Or Granulated Sugar – 1/4 Cup
Water, Divided – 3Cups
Ice, For Serving

INSTRUCTIONS:

Beet Juice:
To make the beet juice, wash your beet and chop it into chunks, put the chunks in a food processor and grind them up into a pulp.

For 1/4 cup beet pulp, add 1 cup water to the food processor. Blend the water and beet pulp together for a few minutes. Strain the beet juice through cheesecloth to remove the pulp. The juice is ready.

For Lemonade:
1. Add beet juice, lemon juice, sugar syrup and 2 cups of water into the pitcher. Stir well and then taste.
2. Adjust the sweetness, tartness, or water levels to taste. Place in the fridge until well chilled.
3. To serve, pour the lemonade over a glass of ice cubes. Enjoy!

NOTES:

  • This recipe makes a dark Magenta drink. I just love the distinct taste of this root vegetable, so I added some extra beet juice to it. But you can simply adjust the amount of beet juice according to your taste. And you will get a sweet magenta drink, which will be dark or light depending upon the amount of added Beet juice.
  • You can also make it a bit sparkly by adding some soda water to it. And your alluring and sparkly pretty drink is ready.
  • you can also use honey instead of sugar syrup

ORANGE AND STRAWBERRY PUNCH

Fresh Strawberries are now almost gone from the market before they are gone Try this refreshing and healthy fruit punch which is as tasty as beautiful.
I am a big juice lover. I try new combinations in my juices every single time. This time its  2  of my favourites,  orange & strawberry. It really tastes awesome you will surely love it.

INGREDIENTS:
5-6 strawberries chopped
8-10 mint leaves
1 tsp sugar (optional)
A small piece of ginger
1 cup fresh orange juice
3-4 ice cubes ( optional)
black salt a pinch
1tsp chia seeds.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Take bender. Add strawberries, oranges juice, ginger black salt and blend till everything mixes thoroughly.picsart_03-08-023224537831751090913.jpg
  2.  Strain (if needed) crushed ice cubes. Blend for few more minutes
    Serve into a decorated glass with mint leaves & chia seeds  & enjoy the chilled & refreshing drink!

CARROTT AMLA POMOGRANATE JUICE

I love juices and keep trying them with different ingredients every time.
In my city Indore, there are many juice shops with a variety of healthy yet attractive juices like apple beetroot juice and spinach juice. Seeing these I decided to try them at home. The hero of the drink is amla with a blend of other veggies like a carrot.
The wonderful blend of carrots, amla and pomegranate with a slight hint of sweetness from honey gives a thick texture and a lot of fibre content. You can have this healthy beverage after your workout sessions or breakfast or as a snack at any time of the day.
All the three ingredients used are packed with nutrition and this juice is simply blended to give a thick juice full of texture from the fibre.

1/2 cup Pomegranate Kernels
1 inch Ginger
1 tablespoon Honey
1/2 tsp black salt
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

MINT FLAVOURED WATERMELON COOLER

Natural juices are always a great alternative to unhealthy soft drinks. I always prefer fresh juices and prepare for breakfast or after school time.
It’s a super simple, summery recipe!! It’s perfect especially when you want something sweet, healthy and refreshing during hot days at the same time. This refreshing  Mint Flavoured Watermelon Cooler give the cool effect to our body on these hot days!

I had this Watermelon drink in a bowl made out of watermelon only first time in Mediterranean restaurant at Hotel Sayaji Indore. I liked the idea of this interesting drink with a creative way of presentation and I tried it at home & everyone loved the same.
Honestly, it’s such a simple and beautiful way to serve watermelon juice, don’t you think? Even hassles of washing jars & cups can be avoided with this kind of innovative way.

LEMON MINT COOLER / NIMBU PUDINA SHARBAT

Pudina (mint)is my all-time favorite. Mint has many medicinal properties.It is cooling to your body, good for easy digestion good cleanser for the blood and body.
I like it very much and so I try and use it in everyday recipes like salads, chutneys, raitas, juices etc.

To give you relief from the hot weather here is a recipe for Lemon-Mint cooler /Nimbu Pudina Sherbat
I am adding lemon in this.Don’t worry, it will still retain its green color, even the next day, and it also gives some punch and flavor to this drink.

1/2 Cup Mint leaves
1 tbsp sugar/honey
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp black salt (kala namak)
1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS :

  2. Place the mint leaves in the mixer jar and add  sugar to it. Also add  black salt , roasted cumin powder and black pepper.1522139154497
  3. Squeeze out one lemon and add its juice too. Add ½ cup water as well and grind finely.

  5. Put ice cubes in a glass. Now add sharbat to the glasses. Fill half the glasses with prepared sharbat. Fill rest of the glasses with water.
  6. Garnish with some lemon slices and mint leaves.Refreshing and chilled lemon mint sharbat is ready to serve. Apart from soothing and refreshing this sharbat aids digestion as well.
